Sharon has practiced law in South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and now practices in Melbourne. She has acted for a variety of private clients and organisations and government departments and agencies including Victoria Police, New South Wales Police, the Victorian Department of Education and Training, VicRoads (the Department of Transport), local councils and the Country Fire Authority.
Claims experience includes: insurance, personal injury, public liability, product liability, statutory liability, occupational health and safety, professional indemnity, motor accident, medical negligence, common law recovery actions and providing advice on Intentional Tort Claims (including assault, battery, trespass to land and goods, malicious prosecution and misfeasance in public office).
Sharon’s personal injury experience includes management and defence of institutional child sexual abuse claims.
Sharon has been involved in a number of high profile inquests acting for Victoria Police and previously New South Wales Police. She has also acted in the coronial space for the Department of Transport and private clients and organisations, including local councils.
She has extensive experience in representing clients at informal settlement conferences and mediations and providing alternative dispute resolution and general litigation advice.
