Nicolle primarily practices in the area of land acquisition and compensation. She is involved in the land acquisition process from acquiring interests, advising clients instructing counsel and experts to reviewing and considering claims for compensation made by affected parties, under the LAC Act and the PE Act and Supreme Court litigation.

Nicolle acts for acquiring authorities on land acquisition matters. Her work in acquiring land and easements includes preparing all statutory notices, statements, instructing and liaising with experts, correspondence with Valuer-General Victoria, the Victorian Government Land Monitor and LUV and offers of compensation. She is also involved in resolving claims for compensation, under the LAC Act and the PE Act, through negotiation or court processes. The clients Nicolle works with praise her for being responsive, dependable and proactive, noting that she works hard to achieve positive outcomes. 

Nicolle has previously worked in general commercial litigation, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants in a range of matters including general commercial disputes, debt recovery, insolvency, property damage claims, and breaches of the Australian Consumer Law. Nicolle has experience in all courts including VCAT, the Magistrates' Court, County Court, Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit Court.
