Felicity practices in the areas of administrative law, regulatory compliance and risk management, litigation, with a focus on aged care, disability and health.

She assists providers of aged care and of disability services to comply with their legal responsibilities including, as appropriate, under the Aged Care Act and in responding to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and / or the NDIS scheme.

She also assists in the advising and litigating on behalf of the Secretary to the Department of Justice and Community Safety in applications and prosecutions pursuant to the Serious Offenders Act 2018 and its predecessors.

Experience

  • Advising clients on legal compliance, risk management and policy and procedure development
  • Advising aged care providers of their obligations under the Aged Care Act
  • Assisting aged care providers in responding to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
  • Assisting with advice and litigation on behalf of the Secretary to the Department of Justice and Community Safety in applications and prosecutions pursuant to the Serious Offenders Act 2018 and its predecessors.
