The Russell Kennedy team helps our clients to navigate the complex and evolving landscape of privacy compliance, cyber security and data protection.

In an era of rapidly advancing technology and change, every sector is facing privacy compliance challenges and heightened cyber security vulnerabilities.

We advise a range of public and private sector organisations on their obligations under Commonwealth and State-based privacy legislation as well as regulation targeting specific sectors, such as health, education and aged care. We are experienced in drafting privacy policies and other policies and procedures for handling personal information, responding to access requests and handling complaints. We also work with our clients to complete privacy impact assessments and create bespoke data breach response plans.

Our team conducts training for boards, executives and staff on privacy compliance, record keeping obligations, and responding to cyber security incidents and data breaches. We also regularly present at industry conferences.
