Martine works closely with Principals and Senior Associates at Russell Kennedy to advise clients across workplace relations, employment law, discrimination and education matters. Martine is dedicated to assisting clients in achieving their desired outcomes while managing financial, legal and reputational risks.

Experience

  • Advising on general employment and industrial relation issues including the management of employee performance, conduct and dismissals.
  • Assisting independent schools across Australia on managing student and parent relationships, and eliminating the risk of child abuse (including by managing mandatory reporting obligations, and appropriately responding to allegations).
  • Acting for clients in unfair dismissal, general protection and discrimination proceedings.
  • Acting for clients on equal opportunity matters including sexual harassment and discrimination claims.
  • Undertaking research on current employment and industrial relations issues, and assisting with the preparation of publications and seminars.
