Kyle is a projects and construction lawyer with extensive experience advising clients on the full life cycle of procurement and constructions projects from inception and design through to completion. Kyle’s experience includes advising on project design and project structuring, procurement strategies, drafting procurement documentation, contract negotiations and claims management.

Experience

  • Acting for owners, contractors, government and financiers in relation to a broad range of infrastructure projects in various industry sectors, including transport (roads, rail, airports), energy (conventional and renewable), water infrastructure, residential developments, universities, waste and resource recovery, aged care, sporting and aquatic facilities, and military facilities and equipment
  • Advising on a range of procurement methods, including traditional methods (construct only), design and construct (D&C), relationship contracting (collaborative contracting, managing contractor and alliances), public private partnerships/project finance, and facilities operation and maintenance
  • Drafting standard form tendering and contract documentation
  • Claims management and dispute resolution
  • Specific experience advising local, state and Australian government organisations
