Erin previously worked in-house managing historical negligence claims and brings this experience to her role.

Experience

  • Advising and acting on behalf of clients in respect of common law negligence claims, particularly involving historic institutional abuse.
  • Providing insurance advice.
  • Advising clients on statutory interpretation, administrative law, and natural justice requirements.
  • Advising and litigating on behalf of the Secretary to the Department of Justice and Community Safety in respect of Supervision Order matters pursuant to the Serious Offenders Act 2018.
  • Acting for the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and Boards.
  • Advising and acting on behalf of organisations in respect of Royal Commissions (including Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety).
