Emma has 20 years of experience in all aspects of leasing and licensing transactions, advice and disputes. She acts for tenants, landlords, government authorities, as well as the not-for-profit sector.
Emma has specialised experience in drafting and negotiating
licences and leases for landlord and tenant clients and for metropolitan and
regional councils and community organisations. She provides advice on all
aspects of commercial leasing including crown leasing, retail leasing and
related legislation and represents clients at mediations facilitated by the
Victorian Small Business Commission. Emma has advised government on the
national harmonisation of leasing disclosure statements.
Emma is also Russell Kennedy’s Pro Bono Practice Group Leader and leads our refugee law practice.
