Natalie has been practising for 8 years and started off her career as a solicitor working with the Office of Public Prosecutions where she commenced in the Appeals Directorate working on appeals to the County Court all the way up to the High Court. She later moved to the OPP’s Trial Division working predominantly on complex fraud matters involving the banks as well as offences involving history sexual offences and other indictable crime.

She then left the OPP to work with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) in its Criminal Offences Unit as a Legal Adviser was responsible for the provision of legal advice for AHPRA and the National Boards in relation to legal, policy and procedural issues relating to statutory offences. 

Natalie went on to join Comcare as a Senior Legal Adviser and was responsible for co-ordinating the legal support provided to the operations group regarding investigations, inspections and other regulatory activity conducted under the Commonwealth Work Health and Safety Act.

Natalie is also fluent in speaking Farsi.
