Matt is a dual-qualified lawyer (Australia and England & Wales) and practices in the areas of administrative law, litigation, regulatory compliance and risk management, with a focus on health, government, aged care and disability.

Matt has broad experience in Australia and the United Kingdom assisting public, independent and non-profit clients across a range of matters in the health and social care sectors. These include regulatory scrutiny and intervention, inquests and public inquiries, mental health and capacity, privacy, quality governance, and advocacy. Matt has represented aged care and disability providers, healthcare providers, peak bodies, and NHS Trusts (ambulance, mental health and hospital services), commissioning bodies (Integrated Care Boards) and local authorities.

Matt also has extensive advocacy experience (including before juries) and has assisted clients and witnesses in the preparation for inquests, health-related tribunals and adjacent investigation processes.
