Having previously worked at a boutique commercial law firm, Chantelle has experience in various practice areas and across all jurisdictions from NCAT to the Supreme Court.

Prior to her legal career Chantelle worked within the Banking and Finance industry for one of the major banks in the UK before moving into compliance focused roles in Australia. This varied background has equipped Chantelle with an appreciation for the interrelationship between our clients legal and business needs, enabling her to achieve practical outcomes.

Chantelle is currently studying towards a Master of Laws majoring in Commercial Litigation.

Experience

  • Assisted in large scale litigation regarding breaches of directors’ duties under the Corporations Act 2001, loan disputes and presenting a claim for an equitable lease.
  • Obtained winding up orders pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 including issuing a statutory demand.
  • Representing owners’ corporations in disputes under the Home Building Act 1989 and against local government councils.
