Michael has had a wealth of experience in dispute resolution over his 35 years in practice. Michael has litigated at all levels in State and Commonwealth Courts, VCAT, and the AAT, and has represented his clients in both civil and criminal jurisdictions and in Royal Commissions, coronial inquests and Inquiries.

Experience

  • Drafting major construction and engineering contracts

  • Due diligence, fraud detection and commercial strategy formulation

  • Litigation in Supreme Court, Federal Court and High Court of Australia

  • Representing building companies, engineering companies and individuals in building and construction disputes in all jurisdictions

  • Acting for clients in relation to banking, securities and trade practices disputes

  • Providing expert advice in alternate dispute resolution and mediation
