Dora is a lawyer in Russell Kennedy’s family law team. She has a strong passion for service and community with a variety of private and public sector experience.

Dora has worked in multiple areas including property law, wills & estate planning, civil litigation, and advocating in family law and care & protection, in all levels of court. She represented a very diverse clientele including corporations, businesses, professionals, ethnically diverse backgrounds, First Nations people, people with disabilities and marginalised and vulnerable groups.

Dora speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin and can assist client’s from diverse background to solve all manner of family law and property law concerns.

Experience

  • preparing, drafting and filing of professional documents including legal correspondence, court applications, case summaries, chronologies, counsel instructions, affidavits and evidence tender bundles
  • regular court appearances and advocacy work, strong client interviewing skills with a diverse range of clients and needs, and frequent liaisons with diverse stakeholders, agencies, and government bodies in collaborative legal practice
  • acting on regular referrals from various private and public agencies such as Legal Aid NSW, NSW Attorney General, Foundation House, Intellectual Disabilities Rights Service, and local businesses such as allied health services and real estate agencies.
