Reform of Victoria's Environment Legislation

Stefan Fiedler and Peter Healy

From 1 December 2020 the reform of the Victoria’s environment legislation will take effect.

The reform of the environment legislation in Victoria has its origins in community, worker and emergency services personnel exposure to health risks from the contamination of the environment.

Stefan Fiedler, Principal in the Government, Planning & Environment team, has identified important considerations and provided high level analysis.

This will be of interest to State Government, Local Government, Water Corporations, Industry and anyone who owns, develops and invests in land in Victoria.
