Who should attend:
This session is relevant to those who are looking to invest in the aged care sector or reviewing their investment or looking to exit. CEOs, CFOs, COOs, GMs, General Counsel, COO, Board Members from aged care providers across Australia.

This webinar will provide a broad overview of the capital markets in the aged care space this year and how they have been impacted by the pandemic. The session will cover how aged care operators should be preparing themselves financially and from a liquidity stand point to ride out the storm. The presenters will also discuss the funding options that should be considered given current capital market conditions.

Our panellists will cover:

  • Capital markets - stimulus vs crisis - a summary of the capital markets year-to-date, including changes in liquidity and investor appetite, and measures put in place by Governments and regulatory authorities to counter the pandemic.
  • The latest phase in Australian Aged Care – a look at ongoing trends in aged care and an insight into this new impact of the pandemic on operations and financial position.
  • How to navigate the funding options universe - how best to prepare and capitalise aged care businesses for potential scenarios that could result, and a run through financing sources that operators can consider to protect their liquidity positions.

Joining us will be Rohan Harris and Solomon Miller, Principals from Russell Kennedy’s Aged Care and Corporate & Commercial Advisory teams and Mark Miller, Director in the Capital & Debt Advisory team at EY Australia. Victor Harcourt will facilitate the session.
