Michael Gorton AM was recently appointed to the Board of Wellways Australia, a prominent disability and mental health organisation providing services across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
Wellways provides services in relation to mental health, disability and community care, and provides services to thousands of people each year.
Mr Gorton said, “I was delighted to be approached to join the Board of Wellways Australia. It has a reputation of providing quality care and services for those needing assistance with mental health or disability issues. They have a strong commitment to advocacy and inclusion and work with communities and families to provide the best care they can.”
Wellways Australia has recently expanded into New South Wales and Queensland. It has over 1800 staff, and is supported by dedicated volunteers to provide a broad range of services which tackle people’s mental and physical health and wellbeing.
