NEWS: Client Update - COVID-19

As the COVID-19 situation continues to rapidly evolve, it is an appropriate time to update you on Russell Kennedy’s approach to the situation and our operational readiness.

Our management team is continually monitoring developments and we are undertaking a number of initiatives to ensure the health and safety of our people, our clients and the wider community and to provide continuity of service to our clients.

Our people will continue to be available to meet the needs of our clients, and we are taking immediate steps to ensure that all of our people can continue to work remotely if they need to do so.

Travel

We have cancelled or postponed all non-essential business related travel arrangements of our people and will continue to review this policy in accordance with guidance from relevant authorities.

Engaging with clients

We have the facilities to offer our clients virtual meeting options in place of onsite meetings as a way to reduce non-essential travel and encourage you to take up these options particularly if you would prefer or if you think you are at risk. Speak to your Russell Kennedy contact for details on how to connect virtually.

Events

To limit risk to our people and clients we have postponed planned events until further notice.  For some events we are putting in place measures to deliver content via live streaming or video.

Health and hygiene

We encourage good hygiene practices across our offices, and have placed extra hand sanitising units in high use areas for access by clients, visitors and staff.  We are also asking all clients and suppliers not to visit our office if they are unwell or required to self-isolate for any reason.

I appreciate the spirit of co-operation that is being demonstrated by our people, our clients and the wider community in this time of uncertainty.  We will continue to update our approach as information becomes available from the World Health Organization, Commonwealth, New South Wales and Victorian government bodies, and will notify you of any significant changes to our approach.

Please contact me or your Russell Kennedy contact if you have any questions or concerns.
