New Aged Care Act to start 1 November 2025
As many in the aged care sector are already aware, the Government has announced that the new Aged Care Act will now commence on 1 November 2025.
You can read the official media release here.
We understand from speaking to many of our aged care clients that this is welcome news. It gives the sector more time to prepare, allows the Government to finalise the supporting Rules, and gives providers like you more certainty around compliance planning.
Our team at Russell Kennedy will continue to monitor legislative changes closely and provide timely updates. To help you prepare for new start date of 1 November 2025 and better understand how the reforms will affect your organisation, we invite you to join our free June Webinar Series if you haven’t registered already.
