For those of you attending in-person, drinks and light refreshments will be provided after the formal presentations conclude.

The team will discuss some workplace trends and developments we have encountered during the year, highlighting issues to be aware of as we move into 2023.

Topics to be covered include:

  • High level overview of key issues in 2022
  • The proposed industrial relations changes and what employers can expect
  • Changes we expect in relation to sexual harassment
  • What’s new with flexible work arrangement requests, including possible changes to the law
  • The rights of employers to regulate and manage employee out-of-hours conduct
  • What else to look out for and how employers can prepare

Your presenters for the session will be Libby Pallot (Principal), Abbey Burns (Senior Associate), Natasha Sim (Senior Associate) and Morgan Smithe (Associate) in Russell Kennedy’s Workplace Employment and Safety team. Our broader team of Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety lawyers lawyers will also be in the office and available to speak to on the day.
