Who should attend this workshop: The building departments of Western Suburbs Councils

Daniel Silfo and Elizabeth Flanagan will provide a workshop for building departments of Western Suburbs Councils regarding the Building Act 1993 (Vic) and the Building Regulations 2018 (Vic).

We will address the following in the workshop:

General enforcement

Evidence gathering and
Topics suggested by attendees

This workshop is an opportunity for building departments of Western Suburbs Councils to connect and attend a building workshop addressing topics relevant to, and suggested by you. Suggestions for topics should be emailed to DSilfo@rk.com.au or EFlanagan@rk.com.au by 11 July 2022.

Daniel has over a decade of experience in providing legal services to Local Government. Daniel has acted for over 50 municipalities, both suburban and rural and specialises in all matters to do with Local Government prosecutions and enforcement.

Elizabeth is located in our Government, Planning and Environment group working predominantly for Local Government in prosecutions and enforcement in the Magistrates’ Court, the Building Appeals Board and VCAT.
