Who should attend: CEOs, Directors/Board members and senior managers of organisations operating in the disability, social and community services sectors.

Understanding your strategic and legal obligations is critical to effectively governing your organisation, especially in turbulent times.

Obstacles with respect to sector complexity, a challenging economic environment, increasing commoditisation of services, increasing market contestability and a reduction of government funding make for a challenging governance environment.

We have seen many of our clients respond strategically and decisively in the face an array of such obstacles, both at a strategic and an operational level leading to an economic tightening of the purse strings and demanding consumers.

Our webinar will cover:

  • Sector reflections – where are we now, and what does the future hold?
  • Exploring your legal and strategic response options in the context of your role as a Director/Officer.
  • Understanding the role of senior management in times of economic turbulence.
  • Identifying practical steps to manage risk including some insight into “What a lawyer would do in your shoes”.

This webinar will help you better understand the strategic responses and legal options available to you.  We will also provide you with tools to help you discuss and frame your own legal and strategic response to such pressures.

Joining us will be Rohan Braddy (CEO, Mambourin Enterprises and President, National Disability Services) Jonathan Teh, (Principal, Russell Kennedy Lawyers) and Jaqueline Wilson, (Associate, Russell Kennedy Lawyers) in Russell Kennedy's Corporate & Commercial team.
