Australian organisations are facing an unprecedented level of malicious cyber activity.

The primary source of information on current security threats is the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), run by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

Through cyber threat monitoring and intelligence sharing with partners in Australia and overseas, the ASD comprehensively understands the cyber threat facing Australian agencies and business. The ASD uses this expertise to help ensure the security of Australian networks and critical infrastructure.

The ASD prevents and responds to cyber threats and provides advice and guidance on best practices for securing information systems.

Russell Kennedy is pleased to welcome Daniel Storey, Director of National Partnerships at the Australian Signals Directorate, to discuss the latest threats to cyber security in Australia and how different agencies can strengthen their cyber security posture.

Daniel will be joined by Russell Kennedy Principals and seminar hosts Gina Tresidder and Kyle Gillan at the Russell Kennedy Centre in Melbourne.

Our discussion will include:

  • Cyber security threat environment and trends
  • Information on how to improve cyber security resilience
  • Q&A session with attendees

Who should attend this event?

This session is suitable for all industries. For lawyers attending there will be 0.5 CPD points obtainable.

Breakfast will be provided and attendees are welcome to stay and network after the end of the seminar.
