Your Input Needed on Taskforce Recommendation 11 (Additional Services) – via Pride Living Group

Following on from a recent webinar Russell Kennedy & Pride Living Group hosted on Tuesday 23 & 30 April 2024, we wanted to seek your input on Taskforce Recommendation 11 (Additional Services).

You may have noticed that Recommendation 11 of the Taskforce report, which concerns Additional Services, hasn't been widely discussed. Pride Living have been coordinating with the Department and other experts to better understand this recommendation and its broader implications.

Pride Living are aware that there will be consultations with all stakeholders before finalising the Aged Care Act and Principles (Rules) related to Additional Services.

It is essential for providers offering or planning to offer Additional Services to fully understand the implications of the proposed changes. It's equally important that they contribute to the consultation process that will shape the formal regulations in accordance with the Taskforce's recommendations.

Pride Living with input from Russell Kennedy Lawyers are preparing a white paper that will thoroughly review Additional Services, and your input is crucial for representing the providers' perspective on Recommendation 11.

A brief survey (5 minutes) has been created to gather information about you, your Additional Services program (if you have one), and your views on Recommendation 11. It’s important to get a large response to the survey. Please support the sector by completing the survey below.
