Erin is a litigation lawyer practising within the dispute resolution team. Erin has broad experience across litigation and commercial law and has acted for clients in all major Victorian Courts and Tribunals.

Erin is client focused, and seeks to develop a thorough understanding of the issues her client are navigating so as to provide considered and pragmatic advice.

Erin aims to apply a commercial approach to all matters, and strives to achieve the most efficient, realistic and positive outcomes for her clients whilst minimising risk.

Experience

  • Providing strategic advice to clients on avoiding and resolving disputes early in the process.
  • Acting for private clients and corporations in commercial disputes including breach of contract and assessment of damages, Australian Consumer Law including misleading and deceptive conduct, and various Corporations Act matters including oppression proceedings.
  • Advising on intellectual property disputes including in relation to copyright, design and trade marks.
  • Acting for clients on debt recovery and enforcement avenues, bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
  • Acting for clients in relation to property disputes and owners corporation disputes, including in VCAT.
  • Acting for and advising clients in relation to alternative dispute resolution.
  • Acting for clients in relation to costs disputes.
