Avalon is a passionate and empathetic lawyer in the Family Law division at Russell Kennedy.

Avalon has varied experience in property settlements, parenting disputes, child support, Financial Agreements and divorce, including for overseas clients. She seeks to ensure clients feel in control of their matters and are able to achieve amicable, just and cost-effective outcomes without litigation wherever possible.

Prior to joining Russell Kennedy, Avalon served as an Associate to a Judge and to a Senior Judicial Registrar of the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia. She gained invaluable expertise in the practice and procedure of the Court and imparts this knowledge to her clients to help navigate the system.

Avalon has also worked in commercial litigation dealing with contract disputes, debt recovery and property disputes which has given her a well-rounded legal knowledge.
