Russell Kennedy has maintained a longstanding connection with the Environmental Health Professionals Australia (EHPA). Principal Louisa Dicker is a board member of the organisation, and Special Counsel Marcus Heath has been an active member of the group.
Louisa and Marcus are both well-known, respected and highly sought after prosecutors and legal advisers in local government and statutory authority matters. Collectively they have over 30 years’ experience.
Their areas of practice include environment, public health, building, planning, local laws/domestic animals, and water law.
At the symposium, Louisa will be presenting a session on 'Self-represented accused: Addressing social inequity as regulator and prosecutor'. Marcus will also be presenting on 'Climate Justice: An evolving legal climate'.
Joining them at the Symposium will be Natalie Montalto, Associate. Natalie is a hardworking and passionate advocate supporting environmental health professionals and councils across Victoria.

Louisa and Marcus have hosted webinars throughout the year which focuses on local government environmental health.
We have our next and final local government environmental health seminar this year scheduled for Wednesday 26 November 2025.
This event will be held in-person, with opportunities for attendees to network after the session has finished. There will also be an option to attend online, for those wanting to dial in.
