The Russell Kennedy Women’s Network (RKWN) invites you to its annual breakfast to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) with Virginia Bourke. Virginia is the Chair of the Mercy Health Boards.

Hands in air celebration 1100x500

International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. This year, the IWD theme is ‘Each for Equal’ which champions the idea of “collective individualism” in recognising there is power in many acts of individual effort.

We hope you can join us on 11 March 2020 to connect with members of the RKWN in celebration of International Women's Day. We will be encouraging guests to develop pledges for actions they will take to address gender equality. These individual actions, large or small, are vital in empowering us all to take ownership of this ongoing challenge as we each strive for equal.

We’re fortunate to be joined by Virginia Bourke, Chair of Mercy Health Boards. As a lawyer and consultant with extensive experience on a diverse range of boards, Virginia sees diversity, particularly gender diversity, as a strength for boards. Virginia will share her insights and experiences with us.

The morning’s celebration is offered at no cost to members and guests. A light breakfast will be provided.

Numbers are limited so please register your attendance by Friday 6 March 2020.
